Start the fun at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center (BMAC) to enjoy the current art exhibit, followed by a creative art project with Linda.  See how art inspires our creativity and how food mirrors art, when you follow Lizi up to the Co-op’s Cooking Classroom where you will do just that —by making something inspirationally delicious! Brattleboro: Come explore the place where art inspires our creativity, and where food mirrors art.  Class will meet at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center (BMAC) at 3:30pm to enjoy the current exhibit and make an art project.  Then walk up to the Cooking Classroom at the Co-op to make something delicious with Lizi. Free for Kids: Fun Foods from Around the World – Italian Pumpkin Pizza

At the request of Co-op kids everywhere… here is a pizza-making class just for fun! Join Lizi to make pizza dough from scratch and top it with flavors inspired by the season: roasted pumpkin, spices and cheese. While we are making our pizzas, we will learn about the culture and language of Italy. The holiday season is upon us! Join us at the Brattleboro Food Co-op Cooking Classroom to make some artful gifts which highlight food, art, and creativity. We will make seasonal art pieces and bake delicious treats to eat and share. Free for Kids: Fun Foods from Around the World – Indian Sweet Potato Samosas

Sign your kids up to learn how to make these spiced, aromatic triangular pies of India. Kids in this class will also learn about the food and culture of India. Free Kids Holiday Pie-Making

In this special Thanksgiving week class, kids will learn how to make basic pie dough and then use it to bake apple or pumpkin pies to share with their family and friends. Everyone will leave with 2 mini pies and recipes. Fun Foods from Around the World, free for kids!

Let’s celebrate Kale, the Vermont Harvest of the Month, by learning how to make Chinese dumplings. These savory and flavorful morsels are a popular snack with kids all over China, either filled with meat, vegetables or tofu. We will make kale and tofu dumplings while learning about the culture and language of the vast country of China.  In the Brattleboro Food Co-op Cooking Classroom, 7 Canal St. entrance.
