Come sample some tasty, local flavors at the Flat Street Tuesday Farmers Market. Kids will have the chance to do a treasure hunt at the market and decorate the Vermont Harvest of the Month:
Zucchini and Summer Squash.
Pasta, pasta, pasta!
Join Master Quilter Mary Ennis as she shows us how to make
beautiful handmade bags with all that fabric you’ve been saving for a special project. Mary’s words of encouragement, “If you can sew a straight line, you can make these bags!”, are for all those kids and adults who want to engage in a fun and easy sewing project this summer. Bring your fabric, your sewing machine (if you want) and your good humor for this playful class.
While the berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and others) are plump and juicy, let’s make some home-made ice cream the old-fashioned way! Berries are the Vermont Harvest of the Month.
We will make delicious fillings for our hand pies with all the colorful berries and fruits which are available right now. Children will make a hand pie and some dough to take home.
