Kids will explore Lebanese food and culture, and everyone will prepare and season their own bowl of hearty lentil soup and bring some home to share with others. What’s the best way to end the summer? Pickling with Lizi in the Co-op kitchen! In this class, kids will learn how to make simple pickles using the bounty of vegetables and fruits available at this time of year. We will chop, mix, season and store our flavorful creations in a mason jar to bring home.
