We try to offer Gluten Free and vegan recipes when possible. The recipes demonstrated and available to taste, incorporate Vermont's Harvest of the Month vegetable (when possible) along with special and healthy foods featured at the Co-op during the month from our in-store circular, Co+op Deals, Co+op Basics, the mid-month Fresh Deals Flyer, Co+op Deals coupons and bulk treasures. We also incorporate the featured foods in the Food For Thought; grains, herbs, beans, flours, etc. Other seasonal and local ingredients are used when suitable.

Food & Hard Cider Sampling during your Gallery Walk

Stop by the Co-op during your Gallery Walk in town for a sampling of Whetstone CiderWorks new hard ciders and some scrumptious snacks. Whetstone CiderWorks will be pouring samples of their 2017 Orchard Queen and Moonlighter ciders, just released! Every year, Whetstone CiderWorks’ ciders are different, reflecting the weather and the harvest of the apple season of the previous fall, so expect something a little different with each vintage. These two semi-dry ciders were pressed last fall and have fermented and matured to perfection. Come be among the first to try them! Must be 21+ years of age with valid ID to sample hard cider in accordance with Vermont State Law.

We will have some entertainment for you, and you will have the opportunity to donate to Brattleboro Boys & Girls Club, KidsPLAYce, or Youth Services, Building Bright Futures, and River Gallery School will also be taking part with informational tables and an art project!
